Day 5: Sourdough Mother

Same as yesterday: On day 5 discard about a third of the Mother and replace with a fresh quantity of all the ingredients except the rhubarb.

It’s looking perfect! Followed the same procedure as yesterday and replaced the discarded sourdough starter with 25g rye flour, 25g wholemeal flour, 50g strong white flour and 100g water.

Confidence restored.
